Needs an iPad update

Cool app and my son loves it, but on an iPad 4, the display goes past the edges of the screen in storybook mode and you cannot read the story as intended.

Good app, but....

My granddaughter loves this app but the interactive part where you speak to Dori doesnt work. I speak into the microphone but the program doesnt seem to pick anything up. It is supposed to repeat what you say in whale talk. Please fix it.

Unhappy for Grandson with autism

I am very disappointed that the microphone does not work on my iPhone6. My grandson who is severely autistic enjoyed the app when it worked. The settings for microphone are turned on but it still does not work. I tried to go through support with zero success.

Needs an update badly

This app was pretty good for a while. The story and characters are great. Unfortunately it hasnt been updated in almost three years and there are now bugs due to legacy code. First, many of the buttons and screen elements extend past the viewable screen. Second, the "read it to me" option no longer works. The pages advance, but there is no sound. This is pretty frustrating. Dont download this app until it is updated.

Dont buy if you have an iPhone 6s

Cute looking app but the "read to me " section doesnt work. Theres no sound or music and the Dora section doesnt work at all. Contacted customer service and they said theyd try to figure out the problem and I could request a refund. Have waited 2 months havent heard anything from them and there has been no updates so I will be requesting a refund .

Doesnt work!

I bought this for my four year old - hoping this book was a read along. The read to me feature doesnt work. No help in the app either to help you try and figure it out! Waste of money!

No longer needs an update badly

In my original review I mentioned that the app hadnt been updated in three years so many features no longer functioned properly (or at all) and many scree elements were not correctly placed or sized. Disney pretty recently updated the app and now everything works again. If you are still having trouble with the microphone or sound, check first that your device isnt muted (with the latest iPads there isnt a physical switch anymore) and that the app has permission to use the microphone. This can be verified in Settings-->Privacy-->Microphone. My one complaint left is that narrator says names of the characters on screen when they are tapped. When the book is set to turn the page, this feature is hit or miss. There should be a delay after each touch of day 3-5 seconds so the app gives a child long enough to touch every character if they want but advances the pages of the child is done touching. This update was a huge improvement.
